Job Summary

Role Overview

The Technical Product Specialist is where Rentana's product meets the real world. You'll make sure our customers get the most out of a platform that's moving fast, resolving integration issues and technical questions with speed and precision while keeping Customer Success and Engineering focused on what they do best.

This role sits at the center of the organization. You'll work daily across Customer Success, Product, and Engineering, spotting patterns before anyone else does and bringing signals back from the field that shapes the roadmap. The insights that come through this role have a direct line to how the product evolves.

For the right person, this is a rare early-stage opportunity. You'll be close to the customer and close to the code, operating at the intersection of technical depth and business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle Tier 2 customer support (Tier 1 is Customer Success)
  • Troubleshoot customer issues related to integrations and product behavior
  • Inspect network requests (e.g., browser dev tools) and use AI agents to accelerate root-cause analysis and clear explanations
  • Work with customers to configure integrations and resolve incompatibilities
  • Verify and validate internal data; confirm when issues arise and what the impact is
  • Develop and maintain internal + external knowledge base articles for integration configuration and troubleshooting (e.g., PMS integrations, CRM + PMS workflows)
  • Catalog recurring issue patterns and surface opportunities to improve integration reliability and capabilities

Qualifications

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with Yardi, ResMan, RealPage, and or Entrata PMSs
  • Experience implementing or supporting third-party API integrations in PropTech
  • Working cross-functionally with engineering teams on technical troubleshooting and escalations
  • Experience with SQL and building dashboards, including using Hex
